Gwinnett reworking transit plan – Atlanta Business Chronicle

Gwinnett officials are working on a new plan to extend MARTA into the county, with the hope of taking it before the public sometime next year, Commission Chairman Charlotte Nash said.

The comments come several months after a March 19 referendum saw Gwinnett voters reject a proposal to expand MARTA bus and rail service into the county. Just under 50,000 opposed the plan, or about 54 percent. Read the story here at the Atlanta Business Chronicle:
